Lou Sullivan's Zodiacal Releasing! (Part 1)

I wanted to return to a queer ancestor who has been important for me for many years: Lou Sullivan. A few years ago, the wonderful astrologer Michael J Morris and I did an episode breaking down Sullivan's natal chart. Definitely check that episode out if you haven't already.
Today, I want to show you how we can break down Lou's life into chapters using a timing technique called Zodiacal Releasing. We're going to look at releasing from the Lot of Spirit - which is the lot associated with the Sun - describing our intentions and our capacity to enact our will. We'll see in Sullivan's life how ZR from Spirit describes his desire and ability to transition as well as the roadblocks he ran into along the way.
Before we get into the timing it's important to assess his natal set up.
The Lot of Fortune is located at 27° of Aquarius - which means that Peak (busy) Periods will coincide with the fixed signs.
The Lot of Spirit is at 15° Taurus - which means that Sullivan was born into a peak period.
The Cardinal Signs: Contain Jupiter (the benefic of sect) as well as the angles of the chart. Generally these are going to be the most easeful periods because of Jupiter's presence and lack of malefics.
The Fixed Signs: Contain the Moon and Venus. These period will also be generally more positive because of the benefic nature of Venus. The Moon generally leans benefic as well, but we should note that the Moon is fallen in Scorpio - so this will temper our expectations. However we expect these periods to be busy and generally more positive.
The Mutable Signs: Contain Mercury, the Sun, Mars, Saturn, and the Nodes. Having both malefics in this axis means that these are likely to be the hardest periods.
